1. What kind of information does CampusTrade collect?

When you visit CampusTrade Web site, you provide
JaxPCs, Inc. with two types of information: 1) Anonymous site usage
statistics, and 2) Information you enter in forms such as in your
"Profile," in "Ads" you post, "Messages," and in "Feedback" you provide to other users.
The anonymous site usage statistics we collect are: which page you
are viewing, what your search queries are, browser type, operating
system type, IP address, screen resolution, color depth, and time
of access.
Information you may enter in your "Profile," "Ads," "Messages," and "Feedback" may include any of the following:
your school email address, your name, your phone number, your screen
name, and your location. Only your school email address and real
name are required to use CampusTrade. |
2. Who can see my information?

• Registered users can view your "Profile"
and "Ads."
• Unregistered users can
view limited information about your "Profile" and "Ads." They may gain full access to your "Public Link" that you must copy
and paste for others to access.
• Only users you sent messages
to can view those messages. |
3. Is my information and password secure from unauthorized access?

Yes. Your information is stored on a secure server behind
a firewall. Your password is stored using an advanced 256-bit hash
method that makes a "fingerprint" of your password. Nobody can access your password. Therefore, if you forget
it, it must be reset. We cannot email your forgotten password to you.
However, as with any account, you must take appropriate precautions
to keep your password secure:
• Do not tell your password
to anyone.
• Do not write down your password anywhere or
store it in a file. If you forget your password, you can reset it.
• Use a different password for each of your accounts. DO NOT
USE THE SAME PASSWORD AS YOU USE FOR YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS.
• Create a password that is at least 8 characters long and has
at least 2 digits in it.
JAXPCS, INC. CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO ANY
ACCOUNT BECAUSE OF LOST OR STOLEN PASSWORDS. |
4 . Is the email I give CampusTrade protected from spam?

CampusTrade does not display your email address to anyone. The internal messaging system allows user to contact each other without exchanging personal information. However, if you deliberately post your email address in an "Ad" or in a "Message," there is nothing CampusTrade can do to prevent spammers from picking up your email address and adding it to their list.
Therefore, CampusTrade recommends that you do not post your email address in an "Ad" or in a "Message." |
5 .What kind of information does CampusTrade Third Parties?

JaxPCs, Inc. may provide anonymous site usage statistics
to Third Parties. Specifically, JaxPCs, Inc. may provide this information
to third parties in order to facilitate our business, such as to better
target banner advertisements on the site.
JaxPCs, Inc. will not sell or knowingly dispense your email address
or phone number to third parties unless required by law as in a subpoena
or court order.
Personal information will only be surrendered to a subpoena or court
order, as required by law. In such a case, your information may be
shared with courts, lawyers, government agencies, and the involved
plaintiffs and defendants. |
6 . What should I know about links to external Web sites?

Links to external Web sites will direct you to other
Web sites not the same as CampusTrade. You must be aware that these
sites may have their own privacy policies and that you must review
those before using the Web site. |
7 . What should I know about Third Party Advertising?

Third Party Advertising is different from the"Ads" registered users can post on this Web site. Advertisements
that appear on CampusTrade Web site can be delivered by either
JaxPCs, Inc. or our Third Party affiliates. These advertisements may
download cookies to your computer that collect usage statistics about
which advertisements are most applicable to you. This allows the advertisers
to target specific advertisements to you as a user. JaxPCs, Inc. does
not have access or control to Third Party cookies. Our Third Party
affiliates have their own privacy policies that dictate their cookie
policies. This privacy policy is not meant to extend to Third Parties,
but applies only CampusTrade Web Site. |
8 . What if I want to change or remove my information from CampusTrade?

Registered users may login at any time (except in accordance
to the Terms and Conditions, Section 10.3) and change their information
or remove their account entirely. Such changes are implemented immediately
(except in accordance to the Terms and Conditions, Section 10.3).

9. What should I know about changes to this Privacy Policy?

JaxPCs, Inc. reserves the right to change this privacy
policy at any time. If this happens, the changes will be posted on
this page and the new date will indicate the new policy's effective
date. You should review this privacy policy on an ongoing basis. |
